{"id":210,"date":"2015-03-17T17:33:47","date_gmt":"2015-03-17T16:33:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scottdawson.co.uk\/blog\/?p=210"},"modified":"2015-04-07T15:12:53","modified_gmt":"2015-04-07T14:12:53","slug":"stanley-seeks-new-sponsorship-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottdawson.co.uk\/blog\/stanley-seeks-new-sponsorship-partner\/","title":{"rendered":"Stanley seeks new sponsorship partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Accrington Stanley is seeking a new commercial partner to sponsor its kit and stadium from January 2016 with help from marketing company Scott Dawson Advertising.<\/p>\n<p>The club has announced its contract with existing shirt and stadium sponsor, East Lancashire based nationwide self-storage chain Store First, is due to expire at the end of this year.<\/p>\n<p>And Stanley directors are keen to start the process of finding a new partner well in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Though board members are in discussions with a number of businesses about different opportunities, they are still searching for a key partner to put their name and finances to the team kit and the ground itself, currently known as the Store First Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The club is looking for an annual six-figure sum for the shirt and stadium sponsorship deal on a three-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Accrington Stanley FC chairman Peter Marsden said: \u201cWe have had a fantastic partnership with Store First over the last few years and we will continue to work with them in different ways thanks to the strong bonds we\u2019ve built together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re now looking to build a brand new commercial relationship to take us into 2016 and beyond. Sponsoring our kit and stadium offers excellent exposure for the right company, whether that\u2019s through regional and national press, Sky TV matches, various gaming platforms via FIFA and radio coverage too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Murray Dawson, managing director of Scott Dawson Advertising said: \u201cStanley is one of the most famous clubs in the world, it punches way above its League 2 weight in terms of media exposure and public awareness as the enduring popularity of the famous 80s milk advert proves.
