A spectacular new music festival is coming to Colne this autumn, with legendary 90s chart-toppers East 17 announced as headline act for the inaugural Colne Cricket Club Music Festival on Saturday 19th September.
Taking place at Colne Cricket Club from 12pm until 8pm, the exciting new event promises a full day of live entertainment, family fun and festival atmosphere, all brought together by Burnley based promoters Scott Dawson Advertising.
Early bird tickets are now officially on sale and available until Sunday 31st May at 11:45pm, giving music fans the chance to secure discounted tickets for what is expected to be one of the region’s standout events of the year.
Leading an incredible line-up are iconic British pop stars East 17. With more than 22 million albums sold worldwide, 18 Top 20 singles and four Top 10 albums, the band remain one of the UK’s most successful and recognisable boybands. Fans can expect to hear huge hits including House of Love, It’s Alright, Thunder and the timeless Christmas Number 1 Stay Another Day.
Joining them across the day will be an outstanding selection of live tribute acts celebrating some of the biggest names in music, including Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift, Oasis and K-POP favourites.
The festival will also showcase fantastic local talent from across the region. Colne Cricket Club favourites Sonus will make a welcome return to the stage, while audiences can also enjoy dazzling performances from the Helen Green Academy of Dance and Burnley College Musical Theatre.
Liverpool-born sister duo Kulturess are also set to bring their explosive blend of rock, R&B and rap to the festival in what promises to be one of the day’s standout performances.
Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy a complete festival experience with a fairground, delicious street food vendors, fully stocked bars and a premium VIP area for those wanting to enjoy the event in style.
A variety of ticket options are available, including early bird adult tickets priced at just £20 per person, alongside family tickets, child tickets, accessible tickets and more. The early bird offer ends on Sunday 31st May at 11:45pm.
There are also just 100 exclusive VIP tickets available, offering guests access to a viewing platform from the top floor of the clubhouse, a private bar, welcome drinks, canapés on arrival and an exclusive meet and greet with East 17.
